I've always wanted to learn smalltalk but each time I've tried I've been disappointed. The environments are cool but totally alien to me and doing the simplest think can take lots of time.

But before I write off smalltalk completely, I've considered getting a tutor. I live in BA and wonder if you might know of a "starving student" that might be willing to help me learn to appreciate what smalltalk has to offer.

Hi Robert:

First of all let me say "Thanks You" by read my humble blog.

About starting with Smalltalk, indeed is a good idea having a tutor. I don't lives in BA, else in a small city of Santa Fe province, named Sunchales (http://www.sunchales.gov.ar) then I don't know much people from BA.

But you can write to http://ar.groups.yahoo.com/group/squeakRos or http://ar.groups.yahoo.com/group/smalltalking/ or
http://groups.google.com/group/clubSmalltalk and I'm pretty sure you will find help.

Good luck!
